A Chic Retreat

Join Maestro Vener and members of the California Philharmonic for the Grand Opening of Westfield Santa Anita’s “Chic Retreat”, The Promenade! It’s a new shopping and entertainment space and we’ve been chosen to inaugurate it. There’ll be an eclectic mix of music with selections by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Pachelbel, Grieg and Holst rubbing shoulders with pops favorites by LeRoy Anderson and highlights from Gershwin’s operatic masterpiece Porgy And Bess. All of which will be performed by Maestro Vener and the orchestra in Cal Phil’s signature style that you’ve come to know and love.

We’ll be performing two free concerts to celebrate The Promenade’s opening:

Thursday, May 7th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm
• Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
• Cal Phil Concert

Plus, on Thursday only, there will be tastings during the event, with food from Tokyo Table, Wood Ranch BBQ & Grill, Nordstrom Cafe, Dave & Buster’s and California Pizza Kitchen--for a donation of $5, with the proceeds benefiting Cal Phil.

Friday, May 8th at 4:30 to 7:00 pm
